Abstract

This article advent of new scholarly and research approaches has led to a notable advancement in the study of the biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, or Seerah. In order to better comprehend the life and mission of the Prophet, modern academics no longer confine their study to the chronological retelling of historical events. Instead, they use analytical, thematic, comparative, critical, and civilizational techniques. These approaches aid scholars in evaluating the historical veracity of stories, analyzing social and educational aspects, delving into particular topics, contrasting the Seerah with other historical events, and evaluating its influence on the evolution of Islamic civilization. As a result, contemporary methods have enhanced Seerah studies and helped to provide a thorough and impartial knowledge of the Prophet's character, teachings, and influence on human history. The incorporation of various approaches offers insightful information on the Prophetic model's ongoing applicability to modern society.
