Sheikh Jalaluddin Kabir is one of the descendants of the Chishti saints. He had attained the level of Ijtihad in the sciences of reason, tradition, jurisprudence and principles. He was well-versed in the sciences of interpretation, kalam and Sufism. Shah Abdul Aziz used to call him Baihaqi at that time. He swore allegiance to Mirza Mazhar Janjanan, who used to say that if God asked him on the Day of Judgment what he had brought for me, he would present Sanaullah.
