Abstract

Allah Almighty sent one lac and twenty four thousand prophets for the guidance of human beings. The series of prophets commenced with The Prophet Adam (A.S) and ended with The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Allah Almighty ordained for all of them the same religion (Din) which was common between all the prophets, as described by Allah Almighty in Surrah Shuaara [42:13] of The Holy Quran. It  referred to  the belief in Oneness of Allah (Tawheed), prophet hood [Risalah ], the life after death[Akherah ], and to the principles of worship as prayer [Salah], fasting , Zakah  and Hajj, and to the unlawfulness of theft, robbery, telling of lies, adultery, deceit, breach of promise, e.t.c. All these injunctions were common among all the divine religions. But this point should be noted here that their religions were same but their Sharraiah [the subordinate injunctions and the details of the revealed laws] were different among them. As it was described by Allah almighty in The Holy Quran; for each of you we have made a way and a method [5:48]. Since the religions of all the prophets were same, therefore, there is much resemblance among the sayings and teachings of the prophets, and their speaking styles have too much similarities. Now we will study comparatively the sayings, teachings and speaking styles of The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and Prophet Jesus (A.S), that to what extant their sayings and speaking styles are resemble and similar to that of other.
